Stephen J. Truog moved to Arizona in 2005 to begin a career in teaching after a decade working in Chicagoland media. A graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, he worked as a copy editor, page designer, arts editor, and movie critic at Midwest newspapers. Since 2005, he has taught AP Government, AP History, and CTE Media courses, serving as a newspaper, yearbook, TV, and FBLA advisor. He currently teaches CTE Film & TV, Photography, and Digital Media at Paradise Valley High School.
