2021 Convention changes to “J-Day”

This year the AIPA fall convention, once again, faces limitations due to Covid 19. As an alternative, the AIPA Board has created “J-Day Arizona” for scholastic journalism students to learn journalism content, share their knowledge and showcase their skills.

Join other journalism programs from schools across the state for the first ever J-Day Arizona which will feature new contest submissions and prizes as well as tips and videos to support the work of your publications. On October 26, 2021 set aside some time for a staff celebration day as you focus on the impact of student journalism, utilizing content and activities AIPA will provide. Content for newspaper, yearbook, lit. magazine and media will be offered along with the announcement of this year’s fall contest winners.

Check back here for J-Day sign up directions in the next few days!

And don’t forget! You can check out the amazing work journalism student did last year in this presentation of our 2020 Fall Contest Winners.
